MAILER-DAEMON spam attack
I had over 550 MAILER-DAEMON emails in my Inbox today. :-|
Most appearing to be coming from Russia. For example, MAILER-DAEMON@aha.ru
A friend of mine just a few days called about the very same thing. Unfortunately for him, he had over 5000! Anybody know what's going on here?
Thanks!

I have alot of this, too. Not nearly 500 daily, but still alot. I suspect that Comcast, my ISP is not that vigilant, and is partly the vulnerability.
Fortunately, the spam attack was short lived for me, lasting only a couple of days. However, I was surprised at the sheer volume of emails that *somehow* got past the Yahoo! Mail filters and into my Inbox. Glad that Yahoo! was able to find a fix for that particular strain of spam as soon as they did (maybe someday they'll find a way to get rid of the rest of it - yeah, right).
